Overcoming the Obstacles of E-filing with ECAS – A discussion of best practices for EOIR practitioners (Live Roundtable & Recording)

5 (1 vote)

The ECAS system and e-filing have been required by the EOIR since February 2022.  However, some older, pre-2022,  paper-based filings are still being phased into the ECAS system and the EOIR system continues to operate in a hybrid fashion between paper filings and e-filing through ECAS.  Join this roundtable to discuss best practices for e-filing new cases, best practices for issues arising from “in-person” hearings with ECAS and other challenges to e-filing.

AILA University Video Roundtables are free interactive learning opportunities where AILA members come together from across the country and world to discuss hot topics and network with colleagues in the field. Video roundtables are part of AILA University programming, and each session is hosted by faculty selected for their expertise. This roundtable is available only to AILA members and is not CLE eligible.
